Dr Victoria Nisenblat has achieved dual specialist certification in both Australia and Israel. She obtained her medical degree from the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology and completed training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Israel. She then moved to Australia with her family, where she undertook additional specialist training and became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014.
Dr Nisenblat gained broad experience working in large national and international fertility clinics in Israel, China, NSW and now in Adelaide. She is a certified sub-specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), which is the highest recognised qualification you can achieve in fertility medicine in Australia.
Dr Nisenblat has also completed a PhD researching endometriosis, which is a common condition known to adversely affect fertility.
Dr Nisenblat’s clinical practice is diverse, encompassing both fertility and gynaecological care. She sees patients with a wide range of reproductive health concerns, including hormone disorders, abnormal or painful periods, pelvic pain, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), recurrent miscarriage, male and female infertility, fertility preservation, premature ovarian failure, donor conception, and other complex gynaecological conditions.
She has a particular interest in supporting patients considering egg or sperm donation and is the Director of Donor Services at Fertility SA, Powered by Genea.
Dr Nisenblat has admitting rights as a visiting medical officer (VMO) at St Andrew’s Hospital. Dr Nisenblat is affiliated with Fertility SA, Powered by Genea, a leader in fertility sciences and laboratory services based in Adelaide.
In addition to her clinical roles, she is involved in teaching medical students and training younger doctors, including new specialists. She is committed to incorporating the most recent advancements and evidence-based approaches into her clinical practice.
Dr Nisenblat continues to be actively involved in scientific research, has been published in leading scientific journals, and has presented at national and international medical conferences.
She can consult in English, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian languages, and combines her passion, dedication, clinical expertise, and multicultural experience to tailor unique personalised care for each patient.
I specialise in women’s reproductive health issues, including hormone disorders, abnormal or painful periods, pelvic pain and infertility, in addition to a broad range of gynaecological conditions in women of all ages.
My special interests include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, implantation failure, male infertility, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and minimally invasive surgery.
I am also actively involved in gamete (egg or sperm) donation programs and advocate for the rights of single women and same-sex couples who plan to start their families.
