Dr Victoria Nisenblat has achieved dual specialist certification in both Australia and Israel. She obtained her medical degree from the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology and completed training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Israel. She then moved to Australia with her family, where she undertook additional specialist training and became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014.
Dr Nisenblat gained broad experience working in large national and international fertility clinics in Israel, China, NSW and now in Adelaide. She is a certified sub-specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), which is the highest recognised qualification you can achieve in fertility medicine in Australia.
Dr Nisenblat has also completed a PhD researching endometriosis, which is a common condition known to adversely affect fertility.
Dr Nisenblat sees patients who present with fertility and gynaecological problems. She has admitting rights as a visiting medical officer (VMO) at St Andrew’s Hospital and Ashford Hospital. She also holds an appointment as a Fertility Specialist at Genea Fertility SA.
Dr Nisenblat’s clinical practice is diverse. She sees patients with various problems, including recurrent miscarriage, male and female infertility, abnormal puberty, polycystic ovaries, premature ovarian failure, menopause, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, gender issues, and a wide range of other gynaecological problems. She has a particular interest in helping patients who are considering egg or sperm donors.
Dr Nisenblat is the Director of Donor Services at Genea Fertility SA. In addition to her clinical roles, she is involved in teaching medical students and training younger doctors, including new specialists. She is committed to incorporating the most recent advancements and evidence-based approaches into her clinical practice.
Dr Nisenblat continues to be actively involved in scientific research, has been published in leading scientific journals, and has presented at national and international medical conferences.
She can consult in English, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian languages, and combines her passion, dedication, clinical expertise, and multicultural experience to tailor unique personalised care for each patient.
I specialise in women’s reproductive health issues, including hormone disorders, abnormal or painful periods, pelvic pain and infertility, in addition to a broad range of gynaecological conditions in women of all ages.
My special interests include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovulation induction, recurrent miscarriage, implantation failure, male infertility, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and minimally invasive surgery.
I am also actively involved in gamete (egg or sperm) donation programs and advocate for the rights of single women and same-sex couples who plan to start their families.
